Third-party accreditations

OWS Fire Rated Ltd is part of the OWS Group Ltd. FIRAS registered installation services are undertaken by Oxted Window Systems Ltd to provide third party certification of competence for aluminium doors and glazing systems.

All external fire-rated doorsets should carry conformity marking, to ensure conformity to both BS EN 14351-1:2006+A2:2016 and BS EN 16034:2014. We are audited by UL to AVCP System Level 1 for Aluprof MB-78 EI doors .

We were the first fire rated glazing company to be accepted into membership of the ASFP. We are working closely with them to establish a technical group dedicated to best practice for the use of fenestration and glazing in passive fire protection.

Aluprof have developed an extensive suite of fire rated products over several decades. We have worked closely with them to become the premium fabricator of these products in the UK. Offering many benefits over traditional steel systems, we can provide certified solutions to suit most internal and external requirements.

Reynaers Aluminium products have been extensively utilised for some of the World's most iconic buildings. They introduced to the Fire Partner scheme in 2020 to raise the bar of competence and ensure that only suitably competent fabricators and installers can offer their fire rated products. We are one of only two companies in the UK able to offer these systems.

We achieved Gold Membership of Constructionline in December 2023, meeting the pre-qualification requirements for public and private sector procurement.
